• In The Beginning…

      It all started when the founding fathers of this company (pictured on the right) were juniors at North Miami Beach Sr. High School. As Steve just started commissioning Myspace layouts for local artists, Frank, Max and Josh were busy reviving Wacky Wednesday, a once forgotten weekly serving of morning announcements with video sketches. ValleDevetS was the working name of Steve's makeshift business as it saw growth simply from word of mouth. It wasn't long before students would yell "Waaaaaaaaaacky Wednesday!" upon seeing any of their favorite morning announcers. By the time of graduation, Mind Blowing Designs grew into an internationally known Fortune 500 company while the Wacky Boys were shooting the sequel to their critically acclaimed film, Wacky Wednesday: The Movie.

      …Okay maybe that last part didn't happen. In truth, both entities were dissolved. Mind Blowing Designs faced stunted growth as the demand for Myspace layouts sharply declined and Wacky Wednesday was left for a future generation of high schoolers to pick up. The four of them went their separate ways and despite the distance, they kept close contact during their first semester of college. It was during the winter break of 2009, in the midst of one of their brainstorming sessions, the idea of creating videos and designing websites for clients was brought up; and that was it. After a month of mashing words together and logo sketches, this new company was officially incorporated on February 2010 as Atom Phly Media LLC.

      Atom What?

      at•om•phly /'atƏm flī/ is an anagram derived from the word polymath which is defined as a person whose expertise spans a significant number of different subject areas. A true polymath is very rare but as a collective group we believe we can cover the grounds of all things digital. The name takes on its secondary meaning as the "Atom" represents us as individuals coming together to form a single structure while "Phly"… well… it properly describes our modern swag.
